People for People, Picnic, Kennis delivered hygiene products, of which a total value is €75K, to Moldova for Peace.
Moldova for Peace is supporting evacuated Ukrainians in Moldova with shelter, safety, food, other basic needs, and of course hygiene products. Movement On The Ground is a partner organization working with Moldova for Peace to make this transport possible. This week we received confirmation that humanitarian aid arrives and people affected by the war in Ukraine will get the products they need as soon as possible.
People for People donated €10K forMovement on the Ground to support their activities with Ukrainian minors in Poland
“Movement on the Ground has lots of experience working in such circumstances, like the great work they have been doing in Lesbos. For us, that makes MOTG a trusted partner. We can help them with our network of business, volunteers, and donations to enable them to do great work. When Lonneke shared that we’re going to focus on the Ukraine crisis, we immediately asked how we could be of help.” - said Jesse van der Meulen, foundation director.
One of the initiatives that MOTG currently undertakes is supporting Ukrainian children in need in Northern Poland. The war forced orphanages to relocate and look for a safe place for children. As a result, 121 orphans, all under 18 years old, and 9 caretakers are now in Poland trying to rebuild an everyday life. We believe that dignified living conditions and the opportunity to learn, play and interact with each other during the day can help these children thrive. That’s why we donated €10K for furniture for building a playground. And we will continue our cooperation because kids should be safe and happy!

We are proud to share People for People Jobs: a platform for people affected by the Ukrainian war who are looking for a job.
With the war in Ukraine ongoing, we aim to get as many people to safety as possible. One of our most impactful initiatives is to make meaningful introductions throughout our community of organizations seeking to support people in need with – and during their job search.
We periodically send open vacancies and information about offline events that we are planning with our trusted partners around employment (matchmaking events & others).
In collaboration with bunq & Veñu, we are organizing an event on June 2nd at 16:00-18:00, where you can get to know first hand more about bunq, their culture, and understand if it can be a place for you. After the information bunq will share with us, there will be speed-dating meetings between bunq’s HRs and the selected candidates.

We help our foundation partners to find volunteers to join their organizations and increase their impact. Last week 3 volunteers joined On My Way Ukraine, our foundation partner, which does such great work in transporting needed goods to Ukraine and bringing people to safety in The Netherlands. And we will prepare a partner spotlight about OMWUA next week. Follow the updates!
Partner bunq helped open 6300 more bank accounts (during the last two months) after collaborating with several Dutch municipalities.
We need more companies and people to join our mission to support as many people affected by the Ukrainian war to increase our impact. If you or someone you know is willing to help donate to the foundation (in goods, money donations, or any other way), don't hesitate to contact them directly at https://peopleforpeople.info.
About People for People
People for People Foundation is a growing entrepreneurial movement joining forces to get as many people affected by the Ukrainian war to safety as possible. We match people and foundations in need with companies that can fulfill these needs. We enable organizations such as Movement On The Ground, Takecarebnb, OpenEmbassy, FastLaneUkraine, On My Way UA, Netherlands for Ukraine and Lifeline Ukraine to increase their impact.
To maximize the positive impact of our initiative, foundation 'Stichting People for People' was founded by Joris Beckers (Picnic), Robert Vis (Messagebird) and Ali Niknam (bunq). Pieter Jan Krevel and Jesse van der Meulen (Aimforthemoon) have been appointed as co-directors of the foundation. A team of 50+ volunteers have joined the organization so far to support our mission.
After already receiving thousands of requests for help, we continuously identify the most urgent issues to help people and foundations in Ukraine, neighboring countries and those who arrive in the Netherlands.
